A medium-class fire-rescue vehicle is designed to deliver personnel to the place of call, extinguish fires and carry out emergency rescue operations with the help of fire extinguishing agents and fire-technical equipment and rescue equipment located on the vehicle, as well as to supply fire extinguishing substances from water supply sources to the place of fire.

FRV 3.0 – 40/100-4/400 on the URAL chassis has a 4×4 wheel formula and can successfully perform tasks to eliminate fires in urban conditions and deliver a sufficient amount of extinguishing agents to the place of fire and to eliminate the road accidents.

The cabin of a fire rescue vehicle is all-metal, double-row, made in a single space with the driver’s cabin, four-door, six-seater. The interior of the cabin is made of noise-absorbing material. The doors of the compartments for the placement of FFE (at the request of the consumer) have two versions: a “curtain” type with a drum spooling system (made of anodized aluminum) or a “panel” type with pneumatic springs, which provide convenient access to any point of the compartment.

A combined fire pump of the NCPC-40/100-4/400 type with a high-pressure sleeve coil with a length of 60 or 90 m is installed on the FRV. The operation of the pumping unit is controlled from the rear (pumping) compartment.
