Fire tanker truck FT 10.0 – 40 (65115) on the KAMAZ chassis has a 6×4 wheel formula and provides movement on roads of all types, as well as delivery of a sufficient amount of extinguishing agents to the place of ignition.
The standard cabin of the vehicle, located above the engine, provides accommodation for 3 persons of the appliance crew (including the driver). The enlarged compartments of the body superstructure allow for rational arrangement of fire-fighting equipment (FFE). The doors of the compartments for the placement of FFE (at the request of the consumer) have two versions: a “curtain” type with a drum spooling system (made of anodized aluminum) or a “panel” type with pneumatic springs, which provide convenient access to any point of the compartment The mounting brackets in the compartments for the placement of FFE are made using threaded connections.
A fire truck is equipped with a fire single-stage normal pressure pump of the NCPN-40/100 type with a built-in automatic vacuum water filling system or a combined pump of the NCPC-40/100-4/400 type with a high-pressure sleeve coil with a sleeve length of 60 or 90 m. The operation of the pumping unit is controlled from the rear (pumping) compartment.
